Empowering Our Community Through Education

At Wrentham Fire & Rescue Foundation, we believe that prevention and education are just as important as emergency response. Our community programs are designed to educate, empower, and protect the residents of Wrentham and surrounding areas. From farm safety to fire prevention, we offer comprehensive programs tailored to the unique needs of rural Alberta.

Farm Safety & Rattlesnake Awareness

Farm Safety & Rattlesnake Awareness

Protecting our agricultural community with specialized safety education

Living and working in rural Alberta comes with unique safety challenges. Our Farm Safety & Rattlesnake Awareness program addresses the specific risks faced by farmers, ranchers, and rural residents in our community.

Program Highlights:

  • Farm equipment safety training
  • Rattlesnake identification and safety protocols
  • First aid for snake bites and farm injuries
  • Seasonal safety workshops
  • On-farm safety consultations
  • Youth farm safety education

Our presentations cover everything from safe operation of farm machinery to recognizing and avoiding rattlesnakes in the field. We work directly with farming families to create safer work environments and reduce the risk of accidents.
